Today is a sort of typical Friday around my office. It is one of my co-workers birthdays, and in her honor I made mini-cheesecakes! They are pretty cute, well I should say they were pretty cute. Another friend brought in some apple strudel from Costco.
And of course for a special persons birthday we had to go out to lunch. Well, not really had to but we did. I thought I would be good by ordering just an appetizer. I was WRONG. I ordered nachos with chicken.
It was the size of a mountain. I should have taken a picture so I could remember what made me feel the way I feel right now. I thought it looked so wonderful...uhhhh I feel so gross.
But honestly if I could remember the simple version of weight loss, happy healthy body, and just overall fitness.
Calories In + Calories Out = deficit = weight loss...why why is it so simple in theory and so complicated...(i guess complicated is not the correct word choice, maybe the necessity of being deliberate about it) in practice?
I don't think it will ever come naturally for me to choose right, choose best, choose most healthful choice. I can only hope to make better choices and run a little further, a little harder, a little more...
eventually there will be a deficit.
